For the first half of the movie (maybe even more that a half) I was like “Wow this is so cool”, “I’ve never seen a lot of silent movies before maybe I should”, “That’s amazing screw the dialogue”.
But then I got really bored. Like really really. And watched the rest on rewind just to know what happens
So yeah I really get the hype and all the awards now because it’s very original and stuff. But it was just not my cup of tea.
Jean Dujardin is good though. A movie like that is a challenge. And I googled him and he played Octave in ”99 francs”. I was glad to know that don’t know why. I haven’t seen the movie but love the book.
